Masnavi Maulana Raum is a very well known work of Persian Literature by Hazrat Jalal ud Din Muhammad Raumi R.A. He was a Sufi Mystic, Poet and a great scholar.
The Masnavi or Masnavi-I Ma'navi or Mesnevi (Turkish), also written Mathnawi, Ma'navi, or Mathnavi, is an extensive poem written in Persian by Jalal al-Din Muhammad Rumi, the celebrated Persian Sufi saint and poet. It is one of the best known and most influential works of both Sufism and Persian literature. The Masnavi is a series of six books of poetry that each amount to about 25,000 verses or 50,000 lines.
The full name of Rumi is Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi, and he is one of the most famous Muslim poets who live in the 13th century. He is a great spiritual person and artist as a poet in Persia (Modern day Iran), and most of his work inspired by the Islamic world.
One day Shams enters the Rumi Assembly. There were several books beside Rumi. Shams asks him, "What are these?" Rumi answers, "It is fair to say," Shams says, "and what is Terah with them?" Rumi says sadly, what did you do, Darwish Some of this came from my father. Shams Tabrizi in this case water and pulls the books out of the water without any traces of water left in the books. Rumi wonders, "What is this secret?" Shams replies, "It's a taste that you don't know about" from this time that Mawlana has changed and turns to greed.
