In order to receive your Oklahoma driver’s license or learner’s permit, you must first take a driving knowledge test that consists of 50 multiple-choice questions. You will need to answer 80% of them correctly, or 40 questions, to pass the exam. All of the information you need to master the exam can be found by studying the 2022 Oklahoma Driver’s Manual. If you fail the test, you will need to wait at least one business day before you can retake it. If you pass the test, you will also need to pass a vision test, provide two forms of identification, and fill out an application to receive your driver’s license or learner’s permit. If you are under 18, you will need to provide proof of school enrollment or high school graduation, and if you are under 16, you will need to provide proof that you are enrolled in a driver’s education course approved by the state of Oklahoma. The fee for a learner’s permit is $25.50, while the fee for a driver’s license varies.
