NIC - DOTS is an on-spot information generator application that streams news and information from the electronic media that contains the district related information. By default, it uses location and user’s choice to get the relevant information for various sources, It fetches information primarily from the government websites so the user can trust the source of information.
User can set their choices with given application settings. User can also view other district information from the DOTS explore feature. Government web address is easily accessible form the app, so any user can find a single point of access to the district government website.
Notifications and alerts based on the user’s choice and selected district is also made available with the use of application.
The application focuses on automatics extraction and presentation of relevant information. The application will be accurately and efficiently extracting information regarding Governance, Health, Education, Important alerts, Local information etc. The extracted information will be presented in graphical forms on user’s mobile screen.
