A large number of the Companions mastered the Qur’an: such as Abdullah bin Masoud, Zaid bin Thabit Abi bin Kaab, Muadh bin Jabal and others.
Learn the intonation of the Qur’an without the net, and we know that the first to set the rules of this science is Imam Al-Khalil bin Ahmed Al-Farahidi, and the first to write in it is Imam Abu Al-Khair Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Al-Jazari in his book Al-Tawhid in the science of intonation, and in the third century AH, and Imam Abu Obaid Al-Qasim bin Salam al-Qira’at in a book he wrote and called “The Book of Readings”.

Learning the intonation of the Qur’an without the net knows many things with the exits of the letters, the place from which the sound of the alphabet comes out when it is pronounced, and the scholars have divided the letters of the alphabet according to its exits into five exits, which are as follows:
Al-Jawf: It is the place located inside the mouth and throat, from which three letters appear: “alif, waw, and ya”.
Throat: It is the area of the larynx, from which six letters come out: “Al-Hamza, Ha’a, Ha’, Al-Kha, Al-Ain, and Al-Ghain.”
The lips: four letters come out of it: “Baa, Fa, Mim, and Waw.”
The nostril: It is the farthest part of the nose closest to the mouth, and one exit comes out of it, which is the chant.
