Crochet is the process of making lace fabric from lace yarn by using hooks. The crochet fabric has a pattern like a chain that connects. Unlike knitting needles, the lace needle has a hook at the end. Crochet products are small objects such as round lace fabrics for table ornaments, tablecloths, caps, bags, dolls, vest, and cardigan.
As with knitting, the basic technique of crochet is inserting the thread into the existing node to create a new node. Unlike knitting, there is only one open hole open during crochet (except when making Tunisian lace).
