Improvements and stability
The horse is a descendant of an evolutionary line with about sixty million years, in a lineage that seems to have started with a primitive animal with about 40 cm. The horse predecessors, originate from North America but became extinct here around the Pleistocene about one hundred and twenty thousand years.
In general, the horse races are very similar in physical form, having well-proportioned bodies, powerful and muscular haunches and long necks that hold the heads of sharp triangular shape. The ears of the horses are pointed and mobile alerts at any sound, and hearing is acute. Wild horses were widespread in Asia and Europe in prehistoric times, but the vast herds were running out through the hunting and capture for domestication.
In Brazil, the first horse races were introduced in three distinct stages: the first wave came in 1534, in the village of São Vicente; the second, in Pernambuco, in 1535; the third, in Bahia, brought by Sousa. Check out this App some of the major breeds of horses known in Brazil.
