This android app is to measure or determine fitness state from people that was conduct the 2.4 km run test.

This test is also widely used to test the physical fitness of prospective students who will enter the sports majors in college, because it is very practical and does not require a lot of tools. For more details please refer to the explanation below.

The 2.4 km (1.5-mile) run test revealed by Cooper is a simple run test for aerobic fitness testing, a tool that requires only a stopwatch and track run. This test is an alternative test for a 12 minute run test. The Singapore Football Association has adapted a 2.4 km run test as a mandatory fitness test from 2013 compared to the bleep test. The US Navy also uses a 1.5 mile test run as part of the Navy's physical test preparation stage.

How to do the test
A. Purpose: This test is to measure physical fitness.
B. Tools needed: Track along 2.4 km and stopwatch
C. Implementation of the test: the goal of this test is to complete a run in the 2.4 km track as quickly as possible. The test takers are on the starting line, when there is a "Ya" stopwatch commence run and the participants start running at the pace determined by each participant. Although the road is allowed, but it is not recommended.
D. Scoring: recorded time of completion of the 1.5 mile / 2.4 km run.

After you have recorded time then use this application to determine your fitness state.

Tutorial usage of application :

Here is a tutorial using a 2.4 Km run test app.

On the first page will be presented with a view of one button "in" click the button.

After that a dialog box will appear, then click ok.

The user enters in the 2.4 km run test app menu. There are two choice buttons: Application Usage Tutorial, and Fitness State.

Click the tutorial button if you would like to view the app usage tutorial.

Click the Fitness State button if you want to process the test results data from the 2.4 km run.

When entering the input menu 2.4 km run test results, if the user uses the operating system 6.0 (marshmallow) to the top, it will appear permission to read the file in sdcard, please click allow (in order to access all features in this application to store data result process).

The data that the app user should fill in is
1. Name
2. Age
3. Gender (M or F)
4. Running Time (earned after a 2.4 km run)

After filling in the data, the user clicks on the PROCESS button.

The results that appear are the Vo2max Value in the vo2max column and the Level of Physical Fitness on the black box.

If you want to delete all data and start a new calculation, then please click CLEAR DATA button.

If the user wants to save the result data vo2max process please click SAVE button.

If the user wants to see the data already stored before please click the DATA button.

For age limits accommodated in this application is age 13 years and over. This is adjusted to the norms of the vo2max level table and the fitness level proposed by Cooper.

Formula of determination vo2max = 85.95 - (3,079 x results of time [minutes])

With standard deviation of = ± 2.24-2.91 ml / kg / min
