Overview of Industrial Project Management Techniques
The author presents an overview of project management techniques that apply to industrial projects. Factory case studies in which event plans have been drawn up involving company expansion and modernization for production capacity increase are presented. Analysis of the pre-defined by the management project requirements, and task synthesis evolving from the project purpose are provided. Examples of producing a work breakdown structure, down to the work package level are also estimated. Interrelation definitions between individual tasks in terms of time and structure, as well as priority identifications are investigated. The applicability risk analysis and provision of a strategy and plan for risk management are considered. Finally, the preparation of a financial plan and schedule, including a balance sheet and cash flow projection over the project life cycle are estimated and assessed.
