The rain prayer is a supererogatory prayer that is prayed by Muslims, praying in order to receive the rain (rain) in order to stop the drought or to fulfill another need in the intention of the worshiper. It is two units of prayer in congregation with an imam.

For the imam to pray two rak’ahs with the people at a time when there is no water (dryness) and it is not a time when it is makrooh.
