Royal Aids Solitaire uses two decks (104 cards). The four black and four red aces are laid out in the form of two crosses. These are the foundations. 40 cards are dealt to 4 reserve piles (10 cards per pile). You also have 2 empty tableau piles. Build the foundations up in alternate colors to Kings.
The top cards of tableau piles, reserve piles and the waste pile are available to play. Empty tableaus may be filled with a King. You may build tableau piles down in sequence and alternating color. Cards from reserve piles are available to play to the foundations and tableau. No building on the reserves.
When you have made all the moves initially available, begin turning over cards from the stock pile. You can redeal as many times as you wish.

The Rules
- The four red Aces and the four black Aces are removed from the stock and placed in the form of a cross to become the foundations.
Foundations (8 piles: complete these piles to win the game)
- Build up from Ace to King in alternating colors (for example, a 2Spades Suit can be played on an AceHeart Suit).
Tableau (4 piles of 10 cards each)
- No building on the tableau.
Reserve (2 piles)
- Cards are available for play to the foundations. They may not be placed on the tableau.
- Build down from King to Ace in alternating colors (for example, a QueenSpades Suit can be played on a KingHeart Suit).
Stock
- Turn up one card at a time from the stock to the waste by clicking.
- Unlimited redeals are permitted until the game is blocked or won.
Waste (1 pile)
- The top card is available for play to the foundations or to the reserve.
