On June 16th, 1993 the United States Postal Service issued a sheet of seven 29¢ stamps paying homage to the giants of Rhythm and Blues. This issue was part of the American Music Series.
The seven different stamps featured images of some of the major individuals of the United States music industry. This application includes both a picture and a biography of each of these men and women. Also included are three sample song tracks performed by each of these musicians. Included are Ritchie Valens, Bill Haley, Dinah Washington, Otis Redding, Clyde McPhatter, Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly.
