Here is an informative display of six of the most iconic inventions. Each has had a significant impact on man's ability to communicate, improve his way of life and reach for the stars. There are three presentations for each of the selected invention. First, there is shown the original patent documents including an image of the working model given to the U.S. Patent Office. The second choice is a transcript of the patent description. This is necessary inasmuch as the original documents may well be faded and barely legible. Finally, a brief biography of the inventor conveys his background and the effect the invention had on everyday life.
