We’ve made some exciting upgrades to the Apple Watch App powered by Trainerize that will make it easier for clients to train on the go! Now, clients can leave their phones behind and be able to start and track any workout (regular, circuit, and interval), including three new cardio activities, swimming, dancing, and HIIT, directly from their watch!
As always, we've also made some back-end upgrades and bug fixes to make your experience even better.

FUNCTIONAL TRAINING -
Functional fitness exercises are designed to train and develop your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work, or in sports.

CORRECTIVE EXERCISE -
Corrective Exercise is a technique that leverages an understanding of anatomy, kinesiology, and biomechanics to address and fix movement compensations and imbalances to improve the overall quality of movement during workouts and in everyday life.

STRENGTH TRAINING -
Strength training involves the performance of physical exercises that are designed to improve strength and endurance. It is often associated with the use of weights but can take a variety of different forms.

CARDIO FITNESS -
Cardio, short for "Cardiovascular Exercise" is extremely important because this system is effectively strengthening your body’s engine - the HEART! Here you repeatedly move large muscles in your arms, legs, and hips. Your heart rate increases and you breathe faster and more deeply. This maximizes the amount of oxygen in your blood and ultimately helps you use oxygen more efficiently.

NUTRITIONAL BALANCE -
Being in a nutritional balance means that you consume just the right amount of calories, macronutrients, and micronutrients from your diet. In an optimal nutritional state, all of your nutritional needs are met without exceeding your caloric needs. Maintaining a stable healthy weight, having low blood cholesterol and healthy blood pressure levels are just a few signs of being nutritionally balanced.
