MPIN functionality integrated.
GHMC has developed ABC-AR mobile App to implement sterilization and anti-rabies vaccination of street dogs in compliance with Animal Birth Control (Dogs) Rules 2001 & SOP of AWBI. This App has to be used by the Animal Welfare Organizations (AWOs) engaged by GHMC at the time of catching of street dogs to enable them to capture with date, time, ward number, circle number, dog photo and GPS location automatically.
It also captures sterilization activity, data pertaining to de-worming and Anti Rabies Vaccination and also captures the live photographs while releasing back the dogs in the same locality from where they were caught and prevents accidental release of sterilized dogs at other locations. The procedure will increase the transparency in implementing the ABC-AR program and this App is developed and intended for the internal use of GHMC.
