One day when the Holy Prophet (s.a.w) was sitting in the mosque, Jibraeel (a.s.) came in his presence from Allah (s.w.t.) and said O Holy Prophet (s.a.w.). Allah (s.wt) has sent this gift for you and your people (ummat) so hide this gift from your enemies because this dua is so effective that whatever dua one asks is fulfilled Whosoever does 'Wazifa' of the dua will be saved from calamities and difficulties, will not be effected by the wound of sword or arrow' and wil be protected from the injuries of jealous and backbiters. This dua has, one wonderful secularity. If someone cannot recite this dua, he can get it written, put it in his hand and ask his wishes through the medium of this dua. He wishes will be fulfilled soon. If one keeps this dua when he is with wazu, he wil be honoured in this world. Besides his sustenance (rozi) will increase. If one recites this dua when travelling he will return back safely from his journey.
If this dua is kept on the hands of this dead person and then he is buried, he will not get fishar or punishment (azaab) in the grave provided he is momeen and lover of
Ahlebait-e-Tahereen. Besides his grave wil be lit and on the Day of judgement, angels will come with conveyance, presents, pure wine (untoxic) and crown. His face will glow so much that those in Paradise will be surprised and they will think he is an apostle Of Allah And Truthful.
DUA AL NOOR
The Supplication of the Light.
In Muhaj al-Da’awat, Sayyid Ibn Tawus has mentioned a narration quoting Salman as saying, “Lady Fatimah al-Zahra’ (a.s.) conveyed to me some words that she had learnt from the Holy Messenger (s.a.w.a.) and she used to repeat them each morning and evening. Moreover, she said that if you would like not to be afflicted by the harm of fever as long as you live in this world, you may say this supplicatory prayer regularly:
BISMILLAHIN NOOR, BISMILLAHIN NOORIN NOOR BISMILLAHIN NOORI 'ALA NOOR, BISMILLAHIL LADHI HOWA MUDABBIRAL UMOOR BISMILLAHIL LADHI KHALAQAN NOORA MINAN NOOR ALHAMDOLILLAHIL LADHI KHALAQAN NOORA MINAN NOOR WA ANZALA NOORA ALAT TOOR WAL BAITIL MA'MOOR WAS SAQFIL MARFOO' FI KITABIM MASTOOR FI RIQQIM MANSHOOR, BE QADARIM MAQDOOR, 'ALA NABIYYIM MAHBOOR, ALHAMDOLILLAHIL LADHI HOWA BIL 'IZZIM MADHKOOR, WA BIL FAKHRIL MASHHOOR, WA 'ALAS SARRAAAE WAZ ZARRAAAE MASHKOOR, WA SWALLALLAHO 'ALA SAYYEDINA MOHAMMADIW WA AALIHIT T'AHIREEN.
Salman then added, “As I learnt by heart these words, I conveyed them to more than one thousand persons in al-Madinah and Makkah who had been infected with fever and they all were healed by the will of Almighty Allah.

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the In the Name of Allah, the Light. In the Name of Allah, the Light of the Light. In the Name of Allah; Light on Light. In the Name of Allah Who is the Manager of all affairs. In the Name of Allah Who has created the Light from the Light. All praise be to Allah Who has created the Light from the Light and has revealed the Light on the Mount, in a Scripture inscribed, on fine parchment unrolled, in measure that is pre-appointed, on a Reverent Prophet. All praise be to Allah Who is always mentioned with honor, known for pride, and thanked in joy and grief. May Allah bless Muhammad and his Household, the pure.
Salman then added, “As I learnt by heart these words, I conveyed them to more than one thousand persons in al-Madinah and Makkah who had been infected with fever and they all were healed by the will of Almighty Allah.
