Home Step Test to Measure Fitness Level at Home
Home Step Test aims is to monitor the development of the athlete's cardiovascular system.
Required Resources
To conduct this test, you will require:
A 12-inch high bench or step
A Stopwatch (Available in This App)
Metronome or cadence CD (Available in This App)
Heart rate monitor (optional)
Assistant
How to conduct the test
This test requires the athlete to step up and down, one foot at a time, onto the step or bench for 3 minutes and to maintain a steady 24 steps/minute
The athlete warms up for 10 minutes
The assistant sets the metronome to a 24 steps/minute pace (Watch The Metronome Animation Video in Start Test Menu)
The assistant gives the command "GO" and starts the stopwatch
The athlete steps up and down, one foot at a time, onto the step or bench at a steady 24 steps/minute for 3 minutes
The assistant ensures the athlete maintains the required 24 steps/minute pace
The assistant stops the test after 3 minutes and immediately records the athlete's heart rate (bpm) [Just Count in 30 Seconds and The Result is automatically in beats per minutes]
Home Step Test Tutorial Application Use
To conduct the test, please choose start test menu
Follow the beats sound that comming up on the video and start doing step test
After test, immediately take immediately the athlete's heart rate in 30 seconds then will automatically convert to bpm
Fill the heart rate after the test to heart rate cell don't forget to insert your age and choose your gender before press the process button
Don't forget to fill up the name, age, and choose a gender to save your data
After the user enters the data, please click the PROCESS button to find out the results of fitness level.
If you want to store data that has been calculated, please click SAVE button.
If you want to delete data that has been entered on the data input page please click CLEAR button.
If you want to see the data that has been saved before please click the DATA button.
