This should be coordinated with the rooms attached, but you can be a little dramatic here with colors or patterns. This is a great area for the "wow" wall. Remember this is how you welcome your family and guests, you want space to invite them more by involving their senses. You can use fresh flowers, nice candles, or good potpourri / home perfume. Though it does not mean excessive with the artificial scent of something that smells natural.
