A Tool to measure the status of malnourishment at Anganwadi Centre level.
POSHAN DARPAN is meant for Anganwadi Centre workers to maintain an e-register of Children enrolled in their centres through a baseline survey form facilitated through the App. Every month the nutrition parameters (height, weight, vaccination details) of the children in the 0-5 age group are collected and the App automatically pinpoints the Severely/Medium Stunted, Wasted and Underweight children. The dashboard visible to the user on the login shows the stunting, wasting and underweight percentage calculated for the total children enrolled in that Anganwadi Centre.
This app is an attempt to provide instant and real time status of malnourishment of kids, and to alert the concerned officials to take remedial measures and also to gauge the effects of such measures at very granular level.
