The Punjab Employee’s Social Security Institution (PESSI) is an autonomous body, providing Medical health care facilities and other cash benefits to registered secured workers and their dependents against contribution paid @ rate of 6% by the employers.
PESSI has several medical healthcare facilities across Punjab; 23 hospitals which are equipped with 24/7 emergency services. Each hospital is in turn associated with Social Security Emergency Centers (SSEC), Social Security Medical Centers (SSMC), and Social Security Dispensaries (SSD) to provide outpatient care and medicines.
PESSI has been working diligently towards digitization and realizing its mission; “Reforms for Improved Systems” by developing and introducing innovative, state of the art applications to facilitate our stakeholders.
This Self-Registration application will not only enable unregistered industrial workers to register with PESSI, but also enable workers in other formal and informal sectors to engage with PESSI authority to initiate dialogue for registration through formal process (under long-term legal coverage).
