Mahabubnagar district Collector had initiated a programme called Intiki vanda, badiki chanda wherein present school children, parents, school alumni or others can contribute ₹ 100 towards the building/school development fund for the local government schools. The scheme got Overwhelming response from the citizens. The concept was molded into a mobile app named “ Naa Badi Kosam “ for easy access, accountability, responsibility in a secured manner.
The mobile app enables the former students, who are currently employed in reputed organizations across the country or world to serve their respected schools by contributing funds for development purpose. Similarly, the app is available for any citizen to make contributions in secured manner through payment gateway integration or cash.
There are different user roles like district collector, district education officer (DEO), school in-charges in the mobile application. The application is integrated with Aadhaar for making donations after reading Aadhaar OTP from concerned mobiles to ensures user identity. The SMS gateway also integrated to generate auto SMSs to users. The cash module is brought into the functionality initially and necessary MIS reports like school-wise, district-wise are available. Shortly, the application is integrated with payment gateway.
