Copying Agency or Copying Branch is established in all Deputy Commissioner Offices in the state of Himachal Pradesh. This branch receives and processes the request made by citizen for copy of the revenue record which is available in the District Record Room of Deputy Commissioner Office.
There are various types of Revenue records namely Orders related to Revenue Court Cases, Demarcation related orders, Field Book, Mutations, Jamabandi, Missal Haqiyat, Mussavi, Shajra Nasb etc. which are available in the district record room. These documents are kept in district record room for any future requirements in legal disputes.
The citizen has to apply for the copy of document with the copying branch. The copying branch charges nominal fee and processes the request to issue the required document copy from the District Record Room.
The app provides information to the individual on the status of document for which the copy of applied in the copying branch. User can use the unique request number given at the time of application or user's mobile number to fetch the latest status.
