An Initiative of District Administration Tarn Tarn, Punjab to promote sports and extra curricular activities among girls
Conquer the Sky campaign is a noble initiative by the District Administration, Tarn Taran to promote sports and extra curricular activities among girls. The program aims to provide support to the female athletes who aspire to pursue their career in athletics. Its goal is to enhance their natural talent and help them to compete with other athletes at various levels.
It was observed that many girls who were interested in sports and athletics were unable to give their best due to lack of access to proper nutrition and training.
Taking it into cognizance, the District Administration conceived a plan to support these students by providing them with nutritionist approved diets, kits and other help that would facilitate them to pursue their dreams better.
In the first leg of the project, it was decided that these athletes will be trained by a professional coach and be provided with diets approved by the dietitian based on the nature of sports that they're pursuing.
